Our Stated Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 7:00pm at the Temecula Masonic Center, and degree work is generally done at the same location on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm with refreshments and fellowship to follow. Finally, feel free to review our monthly newsletter; it can be found in the Trestleboard section of this website or click here for the latest News from the Quarries. Brothers and friends, Happy New Year! What an honor to be part of such an active, dynamic lodge. As we move from one calendar and Masonic year to another, let us keep in mind the tremendous work we have done last year. I’m counting on everybody’s continued help to make Temecula Catalina Island Lodge #524 the example that Grand Lodge points to as a model of success.

We are starting to round the corner to the end of another Masonic year and we’ve come a long way thanks to all of you. First of all, we were able to achieve our goal(not quota) of 20 Master Masons Raised before Annual Communication. In large part due to a continuous stream of interested men and our retention programs. The average time between each members’ degrees was 2 months. So, no rushing them through, but not waiting too long to move through them either.

Well here we are again - another month gone and what seems like many Masonic miles behind us! What a busy time it has been since my last report to you. We experienced an overwhelming calendar of events through June & into July. Obviously everyone can’t attend everything, but we tried to put together enough events that there was something for everyone & it was great seeing and spending time with all of you over the past month.

As we approach the finish line of another great year of Masonry at TemCat, I can’t help but look back and reflect with pride at all we have accomplished together. What an example of a Masonic Family Reunion that has been displayed since last year’s installation. First of all, I still can’t get over how attendance at our numerous degree nights has increased over the last few years - especially this last year.

September is all but here and we continue to fire on all cylinders! A lot of exciting things are happening with your lodge. First, we are so close to hitting our goal of 20 Raisings by Annual Communication in TemCat’s first year of “Raise-A-Thon”. Two more to go!!! If you have made a pledge to the lodge, we will be collecting your pledges soon, in order to present it to MW Bill Bray at this year’s Annual Communication in late September. Speaking of “Raise-A-Thon”, some folks up in Grand Lodge have caught wind of it and think it is a great idea.
